Information
Aerobatic display smoke systems are normally created by injecting diesel into the exhaust of the aircraft, while used by many aerobatic display teams it leaves much to be desired. Depending on the type of aircraft, fumes from the smoke system can easily get into the cockpit. Many of the products used for smoke oil are not intended for ingestion, the smoke produced from many of these products is not only unpleasant and pungent, but they also have the potential to produce compounds that could be harmful to health. Shell Smoke Oil is a highly refined, non-stabilised, aromatic free white mineral oil which complies with the stringent pharmacopoeia purity requirements. AeroShell Smoke Oil has a maximum shelf life of 10 years from the date of manufacture. No retest is required.
